Asprinn Reverse Osmosis Membrane 190 Litres Per Day
The Asprinn Reverse Osmosis membrane is the 3rd stage of the FSA 7 Stage R/O Water Filter System and should be replaced every 3 years or so. However, this membrane is built to common standards and will fit most domestic R/O systems in Australia.
The Asprinn Reverse Osmosis membrane has a 0.02 micron rating and is classed by the manufacturer to be a U.S. 50 gallon per day membrane (190 L). However, this daily volume reflects water pressure/conditions which rarely apply in domestic Aussie kitchens.
A more realistic volume of filtered water would be approximately 60-90 L/day, which is based on a 5 person home for cooking and drinking with water mains pressure of 50-100psi.
