Pricing

Prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD). You have the option of changing the displayed currency, including US Dollar, UK Pound, NZ Dollar, etc by scrolling to the bottom of any page (excluding checkout pages) and making your selection from the drop-down menu.

Goods and Services Tax (GST) is not included in prices displayed on the website*. Orders shipped to Australian addresses will have 10% GST added to the sub-total on taxable products and shipping during checkout. International orders are GST-free. *Note: This was not always the case. We had to start displaying prices excluding GST due to technical limitations and needing to get the correct amount of tax calculated at checkout. Apologies for any confusion and inconvenience.

Australian customers will be charged in AUD. Customers in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and United States will be prompted to shop in their local currency. Everyone else will be shopping in AUD, unless you choose something else from the currency selector drop-down menu (bottom of each page).

Shipping & Delivery

Local pickup is not currently available.

Flat rate shipping is available in Australia starting at $7.25 AUD. Signature on delivery as well as Express shipping options are also available. International shipping costs depend on destination, weight and speed. For full details, please see our Shipping Policy.

Most product lines have an Express shipping option which is based on weight.

Products that are classified as Dangerous Goods, must be carried by road only. That means that certain Express shipping options may not be available as well as international orders which require air transport.

Young Living’s Frankincense and Sacred Frankincense essential oils, are flammable liquids and classified as Dangerous Goods.

Orders are typically packaged and shipped within 24 hours of payment confirmation.

Yes, select a shipping method with the ‘Safe Drop’ option at checkout. This means you are providing the courier an authority to leave your parcel in a safe place, if one is available.

Yes, choose a shipping method with ‘Signature’. However, most couriers will not actually ask you for a signature. Due to COVID considerations, the courier will most likely place the parcel at your door and wait for someone to answer. They will then record the name of the person accepting the parcel.

If no one is home during delivery, Australia Post will leave a card with instructions to pickup at a nearby post office.

Yes, Australia Post will send periodic emails once your order has shipped. One of these emails should give you the option to change the delivery address if required. You’ll need to have an Australia Post account to use this feature.

Yes, Australia Post delivers to Parcel Lockers and Post Office boxes.

Delivery is estimated from the time the order is dispatched and not from the time the order was placed. Delivery estimates are provided at checkout.

Allow an additional 2+ days to the above estimates for delivery to regional areas.

Public holidays and peak delivery times may affect the date of delivery.

If your order is time sensitive, your best option is selecting DHL Express.

A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has been processed. Once the parcel is picked up or lodged, you should start to see a tracking history on the tracking page.

Yes, your order has shipped as of when you received the email confirmation. At a minimum, you should get status updates (scanning events) on the day of the final delivery. However, there are instances with Australia Post where the initial scan or even subsequent scans do not appear on their tracking website. This could be due to technical issues. We also noticed this happening with some of the older 'pre-paid' shipping bags we purchased in bulk a while ago and slowly using them up. If you still have concerns and it's been a couple weeks since you received the shipment confirmation, just reach out, and we'll follow up Australia Post.

Products with Best Before dates

If applicable, this information is located below the price on the Product page.

For products that have volume or flavour options, the Best Before date will change and display under the price as the different options are selected/changed.

Yes, products within 3 months of their Best Before date will be marked down 50% and will be grouped in the Clearance collection as well.

Membership is completely free and there are no purchasing requirements.

To be eligible to earn Reward Points, you must first register an account (become a member). This can be done before or after you place an order. Make sure to use the same email address if creating your account after purchase.

You can earn points by registering an account with Mum’s Medicine Cabinet (200 points), placing an order (5 points for every $1 spent), like us on Facebook (50 points).

Click on the ‘Rewards’ button located at the bottom left corner of your screen – looks like a present and click ‘sign in’ or click on the ‘Rewards’ link from the main website menu (top of the page). Once logged in, your Reward Points total will be displayed. From there, click ‘You Rewards’ to generate a coupon code for your next purchase. You’ll have the option to copy the coupon code or apply it your order straight away.

If you generate the coupon but don’t use it straight away, it will still be available for you to use later on. Just log back into your account and go to the Rewards area.

Orders

Browse through the products and make your selections by adjusting the quantity and clicking the 'Add to Cart' button. Once you are done adding items to your Shopping Cart, click on the 'Shopping Cart' link located at the top right corner of the webpage.

Review the contents of your order and make any adjustments to the quantity or remove products as needed. Once ready, click the ‘Checkout’ button. Alternatively, click ‘Continue Shopping.’

Here you will enter your billing and shipping details, have the ability to use a Coupon Code,and select your desired shipping option.

 

If you ever get stuck, just click the ‘Back’ button on your internet browser.

Yes, enter your details in the Billing section during checkout so they match your credit card or payment method.

You can then specify a different Shipping address and the person's name to whom you are sending the order.

 

Our systems are setup not to allow purchasing items that are out of stock. In the unlikely instance that we are unable to supply an item on your order, we will send all other items and provide a refund for the value of the short supplied item. You will be notified of this via email.

Returns and Refunds

Products sold on mumsmedicinecabinet.com.au are covered under our conditional 30 day money back guarantee. Please see our Refunds Policy. for full details.

  • On defective items, products are to be returned within 7 days of delivery.
  • If you’ve simply changed your mind or have made a wrong decision, goods are to be returned in their original and re-saleable condition (i.e. unopened and unused) within 30 days of purchase.

Refunds will not be granted outside the 30 day period. All refunds will be credited by way of original payment method (e.g. credit card) and refunds will be for the cost of goods only. Refunds for delivery expense will be included should the product(s) be found defective and you do not want the goods to be replaced. Goods that are deemed defective and a replacement was requested will be shipped free of charge. Any products that are not defective and have been returned opened or used will either be destroyed or returned to the customer at their own expense.

For orders with free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount if one is authorised.

Products can only be returned after an authorisation has been granted. Please DO NOT return items before obtaining an authorisation. Returning products to Mum’s Medicine Cabinet will be at the expense of the purchaser.
